TechRefurbZ Warranty Policy

Warranty Applicability

This warranty applies exclusively to products purchased directly from TechRefurbZ’s official website or physical store. Products bought from third-party platforms where TechRefurbZ is listed as a seller are not covered under this policy. For such purchases, refer to the warranty policies of the respective marketplace.

Warranty Options

  1. Carry-in Warranty
  • 6 Months Carry-in Warranty: ₹800
    Customers must bring the product to our designated service centre for warranty claims.
  • 12 Months Carry-in Warranty: ₹1,500
    Customers must bring the product to our designated service centre for warranty claims.
  1. Return to Desk Warranty
  • 6 Months Return to Desk Warranty: ₹1,800
    TechRefurbZ will arrange pickup and delivery of the product, handle the warranty claim, and return the repaired or replaced item.
  • 12 Months Return to Desk Warranty: ₹3,000
    TechRefurbZ will arrange pickup and delivery of the product, handle the warranty claim, and return the repaired or replaced item.

Warranty Period

  • Standard Warranty: Covers repair or replacement for manufacturing defects within the warranty period.
    • Non-Apple Products: 7 days Testing Warranty from the date of purchase.
    • Apple Products: 7 days Testing Warranty from the date of purchase.
  • Extended Warranty: Available for purchase during the initial transaction.

 

What is Covered?

  • Defects in Materials and Workmanship:
    All refurbished products in their original packaging are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship during the warranty period.

What is Not Covered?

Exclusions:

  1. Consumable Parts: Batteries and adapters (except for manufacturing defects).
  2. Superficial Damage: Scratches, dents, or broken parts not caused by workmanship defects.
  3. Third-Party Accessories: Components not included in the original packaging.
  4. Software Issues: Problems with operating systems, applications, or custom software.
  5. Damage Caused By:
    • Accidents, misuse, or abuse.
    • Unauthorized repairs or modifications.
    • External factors like fire, liquid spills, or natural disasters.


Other Limitations:

  • Products with tampered or removed serial numbers.
  • Stolen products or those locked due to security measures (e.g., forgotten passwords).


Customer Responsibilities

  • Data Backup:
    Customers must back up all personal data before repair or replacement. TechRefurbZ is not liable for data loss during the service process.
  • Proof of Purchase:
    Warranty claims require valid proof of purchase.


Warranty Service Process

  2. Initial Resolution:
    • Issues will be assessed remotely within 24–48 hours. Troubleshooting assistance will be provided.
  3. Service Centre Repair:
    • If unresolved, the product will be sent to the TechRefurbZ service centre for inspection and repair.
  4. Replacement:
    • If repair is not feasible, the product will be replaced with one of equivalent specifications and value.


Shipping and Handling

  • Proper Packaging:
    Customers must ensure secure packaging of the product when sending it for service. Damage caused during transit due to inadequate packaging is not covered.


Limitation of Liability

  • TechRefurbZ does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of refurbished products.
  • TechRefurbZ is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including data loss, revenue loss, or business disruptions.
